Acts 2 Journey Intensive
WHEN:
The Intensive will begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, June 13, and will conclude by 1:00 pm on Friday, June 14. Lunch will be provided on Thursday

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Assemblies of God District Leadership
The Acts 2 Intensive is designed to lead attendees through the content of all four retreats of the one-year Acts 2 Journey cohort over the course of two days. If you’d like to become acquainted with the entire Acts 2 Journey cohort system and explore embedding a church health template into the culture of your district or network, the Intensive provides an opportunity to be immersed in the process.
Pastors with a passion for mentoring others
Many district leaders recognized the value of having sectional presbyters attend the Intensive who could be trained to lead an Acts 2 Journey within a district or network or to provide follow-up training and accountability to churches that have previously participated in the Acts 2 Journey Cohort.
Leaders interested in joining the church health movement within the World Assemblies of God Fellowship
The Acts 2 Journey is a biblically based, stylistically neutral template that provides leadership alignment, fresh vision, and strategy to help your church grow younger, pass on the faith to next generations, and engage Jesus-followers in missional living. Whatever your role in the local church, discover how it connects to fulfilling the vision of seeing a healthy church in every community!
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
Included in the registration is access to the Acts 2 Journey Video Cohort from digital.myhealthychurch.com.
Access to the Acts 2 Church Survey evaluating the 5 functions described in Acts 2:42-47: Connect (fellowship), Grow (discipleship), Serve (ministry), Go (evangelism/missions), and Worship. A completed survey will determine minimum health factors in 12 separate areas, with recommendations for next-step actions.
Access to an online training portal with teaching videos from Acts 2 Journey facilitators.

Instructors’ Guide and PowerPoint slides for the “A Spirit-Empowered Church” DSOM course.

Acts 2 Journey Intensive
WHEN:
The Intensive will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, and will conclude by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21. Meals and lodging will be provided at Lake Geneva Campground. The registration costs will cover lodging and meals at Lake Geneva.
Times for the Intensive are as follows:
Thursday, September 19:
· 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Intensive Training)
Friday, September 20:
· 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Intensive Training)
· 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. (shadowing Retreat 3 lead pastor/spouse session)
Saturday, September 21:
· 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (shadowing Retreat 3 vision team session)
The Acts 2 Intensive is designed to to provide an overview of the content of all four retreats of the one-year Acts 2 Journey cohort. This Intensive will include two parts:
· Thursday night / Friday morning: Receive training and resources for how to lead churches through the Acts 2 Journey process
· Friday night / Saturday: Observe a typical Acts 2 Journey Retreat weekend

World Assemblies of God Congress
The Assemblies of God World Congress is an event held every three years that brings together pastors, leaders and members of Assemblies of God churches from around the world.
This year, Madrid will be in charge of hosting this Global event called to mark the next decade of the Assemblies of God since it is the first event after the global pandemic that hit the Churches and it will be the Congress that will launch the Global Evangelism strategy MM33.
Together with all these ingredients, “Shine!” will be the first world congress with a specific program for young people which we have called “Next Generation”.
